Sunnie was diagnosed with DIPG just 3 days after turning 10 years old. DIPG is a rare and aggressive pediatric brain tumor that is considered terminal. Sunnie faced each day with a smile and a fierce tenacity to never give up. She was a bright light that touched every person she met. She battled DIPG for 17 months. At 11 years old, Sunnie traded her warrior sword for angel wings on March 25th 2024.
